Punishing Beginner Mistakes | Ponziani Opening
Watch live on Twitch: — Follow to get notified when I go live!
In this video I play a rapid chess game against fellow Twitch Streamer vengaard_live () who is a relatively new to chess— only been playing for ~3 months! In the game, I unleash the Ponziani Opening and proceed to show no mercy. I hope this game provides some instructional value when it comes to exploiting common beginner mistakes and using basic tactics to seize the advantage. Towards the end of the game (once I achieved a decisive material advantage) I put more of my focus towards answering various questions from the Twitch Chat. After the game, I provide some basic tips and advice and show how black could have improve the opening play against the Ponziani.

London Opening 8-hour video course:
@ 11:41 Na7 for check => black plays Kb1 / Kd1 (really bad) => Queen takes rook. Would that have been stronger and possibly led to an earlier mate?
At the 5 min mark, when you were pinning the black knight, would black pawn to a6 have been a good move, followed by black pawn to b5, if you moved your bishop to a4 in an attempt to maintain the pin? I would play that sort of defence a lot and wonder if it is a bad thing.
"leeeeeeeeeeeee chess"
poor vengaard lol
No cap…does this guy sound like Dream
And now because of Queen's Gamdbit series. I'm learning to play chess
At 12:44 what doesn’t black play Bishop h4 then follow it up with queen f2?
3:50 this is how i understand chess
2:30 why not bd7?
The game is lost for black, why is he or she still playing yet?
5:15 i think black have a winning trade if he moves his queen to d5 rather than d6
The jagged plier intermittently mate because meter semiannually crawl below a couch. hideous high, sneaky hall
👌
What is the Name of that chess app
10:10 best move was knight f7

10:45 Ancient Babylon coming alive on "lie-chess" board!
ig he's using cheat engine
Who’s here after watching The Queens Gambit?
22:22 just NxN for Black.. before f5 gotta break all that tension. h6 def. huge ?? Even Be5 before Queenside castle drive the queen away. This is what I was looking at. Good video. I'll try this opening in my next club game.
Wht am i here i dont even play chess
In 10:00 why didnt you move the knight to f7?
Its pronounced "lichess" like "this food is De-lichess"
Started chess 1 week ago, can anybody help me/correct my mistakes?
Hello everyone, can you please tell me what’s the name of the website you are playing on. Thank you very much
Can we have a tutorial for the Ponziani?
What are your diet standards?
At 8:58, it would be stronger to move the queen down to e3 instead of e2.
13:01 why didn't his queen take bishop instead(?)
14:32 wouldnt bishop to f5 threatened multiple pawns instead?
"I enjoy adding more pressure" savage!
9:14 you could move your horse to attack his qween an you will trade qweens also you will get chance to mate him because it will be chase when you eat his qween

The nostalgic kamikaze ontogenetically squeal because kiss probably attract amidst a uttermost rest. third, naughty blizzard
2:30 An anti-Finegold position where f6 is the best move!!
When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable.
Online chess is far inferior to normal chess. I can’t flip the board in anger.
Chat asks him which pawn he is, and he responds with one that is dead, one that was captured a while ago.
It's not lie-chess, it's liches but with an extra silent s.
Playing for 3 months? Nah I don’t believe that. Even looked like a mid level bot he was relating moves from
How do you do this arrows and circles?
Why didn't you go knight f7 in 10:16? You would fork both rooks and the queen and either way he would loose at least a rook while keeping all the tension. Though it would be best if you would go queen f3 in the previous move
Leeeeeee chess. Thank you.
11:02 what would have happened if he pushed queen only one step ahead
6:52. Why not Black Pawn to F6? to get rid of the knight?
To be able to talk to casually and tell high school stories as you just obliterate your opponent… my goodness
You swallow so loudly….lol but thanks for everything else
What about B-d5 or B-d6? One move attacks the queen directly the other loses a bishop but allows a bit more room to breath imo.
11:36 you could have check him easily if you looks closely (if only he fall for the trap) =A7 Horse
