i’m a 1600 and people try to scholars mate me 😂 free development

Thank you. I always lose when I was on that situation…

I would normally play knight to f6 so it attacks the pawn and the queen

my 900 elo opponent really tried to scholars mate me… against a sicillian defense

When black attack the queen what if white sac the bishop for better positioning?

my 900 elo opponent really tried to scholars mate me… against a sicillian defense

Me who learned this cause i got mated like that xd

For the 800s and below out there…👍🏻

No, Kf6 is a much better move. Kf6 moves to attack the opposing queen and pawn. When they take the pawn and check you, make the move bh7 to defend the knight and prevent check. It is a sacrifice of a pawn but in the end while they only advance a bishop and queen, you should be ready to castle.

Knight h6 problem solved if they are stupid enough to take you get a free queen

Ive encountered so many people that use this 😂

I'm around 300 Elo. I can't tell you how many times I've faced the wayward queen attack, but I opened with the Caro-Kann. So, my opponent isn't really threatening anything. I typically respond with Nf6 attacking the queen and getting ready to finish my Caro-Kann.

If im playing against scholars im just gonna put my queen infront of the checkmate square and then do a scholar mate against them
And yeah i know knight F3 prevents it but still is funny

And that is how I beat Nelson everytime I'm in a bad mood

Remember guys the most superior move when you all see a scholar mate that may happen is KNIGHT H3

I would say the kiddie countergambit is actually better because it basically stops the scholar's mate in one move.If you dont know what the kiddie countergambit is , Its knight to h6 protecting f7.

As a person who stopped mate in 4, I can confirm I am very happy

When I was in 500 elo and most opponents do this it actually throws them off since I block all of his attack and force his queen to run away while I develop my pieces lol

Legends know that this is reuploaded. Pin my comment

Stop it now all my 200 rated opponents will know 😡😡😡

I'll do NC6 after that i do NF6 so they cant threaten checkmate

I literally learned that myself no help, nice to see other people sharing the only good strategy.

instruction unclear, got mated by a 38 year old.

This happens a lot in my elo (600). I've dealt with this a lot of times, but never tried doing it myself. But I see that a lot of people win using this opening in my ranking

    I play f4 instead of nf3. It's more aggressive

The people who actually play this opening even after being in 900 ELO: We are dead bro💀💀

Levy got a new chevy but its too heavy so he dip it in the curry

I used to always play e3 after e4(the french defense) cause scholars mate aint possible with or if i play e5 and its qh5 nh6 protecting the b7 square

What i also saw(get you throw up buckets ready) when i played nh6 they took b7 with the bishop and then with the queen and after that they resigned

I self figured this out because of nelson beating my ass multiple times in a row

    THANK YOU GOTHAM CHESS!!!!!!!
