I think I am missing something in this video. How did the white pawn went from e5 to f6

Is beating Magnus Carlsen with such an incredible checkmate not worthy enough of being mentioned by name?

When Yami plays chess (gaia) THE (fierce) KNIGHT

Video edite appositelly so be difficult to undesrtand, so we have to watch it 3-4 times to realize the combination. Not honest way to gain your likes.

Lol I've done an en passant check mate before, I've also been checkmates the same 😛 well against a GM this is insane aswell with the sacs.

First time ever in 50.6thousand years since chess exists

TIL that en passant is a move one can do in Chess

Checkmate with en passant is cool but I feel this has to be labeled as higher for its added complexity an en passant revealed checkmate maybe.

Meanwhile 69 elos making rare moves every second

your shorts are so cringe why do you have to act like a child?

someone tell me how the pawn is checking the king??

What if black played camel h6 instead of knight h5?

What would happen if magnus used the bishop to block the rook(H1) from G7 to H6 instead of the Knight? My mind cannot simulate the next moves after that. I'm not really good at it. Hahaha.

Meanwhile I have no fucking idea what this means even after googling it. Thanks for explaining this super rare move!

    "How does…THE KNIGHT…move?" – Levy Botez

I got En Passant 2 times and I just started playing like 1 and a half weeks ago

Oh so that's checkmate i thought it's stalemate

    ……THE KNIGHT!!!not the knight bro …:(

Didn’t you have a episode where your opponent checkmated with en passant

I really learn chess to you thank you I know now chess is interesting

What the fuck is en passant? Is that a thing? I was playing my girlfriend in a game, and had her king checked, like it was game over, there was no where for the king to go, and her pawn moved diagonally, (nothing was there) and took my pawn that had her king checked.

How did he make that last move? Isn’t it the only way to move in diagonal is when you can take out a piece?

My girlfriend did that to me once I was flabbergasted because I didn’t know the pawn could move like that. Granted, she didn’t checkmate me with the move, but I was so confused

I didn't know you can do en passant at that side of the board.

I’m so stupid, I had to watch and pause this like 20 times in order to get what happened lol
