The value of this early non counting tournament is it is so much fun. It is a show more than lots of tournaments, and it sure was that. So far. It was a little late when I got online and I thought, watch the tournament or get straight to Levy. Easy and best choice, great video Levy.

Fischer was right! While classical chess is awesome and will never ultimately be replaced, this random variant really spices things up and forces the players to think strategically every single move, versus simply relying on memorization for the opening. It really is a good skill test.
It seems 960 benefits tactical attacking players rather than positional defensive mindsets because there aren't traditional consolidation methods, opening the board for attack
