Lol. But really, Fide is to blame for the state of chess. They are to blame for Magnus not wanting to play. Chess is how old, and they havent found a way to market it properly. They cant even keep it consistent from year to year. Fide either needs to get their sh*t together, or step aside for someone who can do it right.

I ended the year reading your book and I’m starting the year off right by reading and studying.
Loved this chess year reflection, feels almost like a chess talkshow covering all different facets of the chess world.
I got into it by first watching videos about emery tate’s chess games. Then shortly found Gotham chess after.
2021 threw you I think I can´t remember really.
It was the cheating scandal in september 2022 that got me into chess.

I love playing chess! I will definitely order the book! I become much better in chess, as my grandfather. At the beginning I lost always, but now I sacrifice for example the rook. First I was scared of this but now I play much faster. Thanks Levy!🤗

Got into chess around the 2016 World Championship with Magnus and Krajaken. I had started playing to learn the game, and the Championship captivated me. Started by watching Chess network but now I watch him, you, and agadmator and more! So much amazing chess content now in 2024

Interviews will surely be a very fun video to watch. The recent magnus interview and that short interview with fabi was very interesting. So yeah, it sounds like an interesting and fun vid to watch
I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask but because levy mentioned female chess and potential issues involving sexism and such i felt compelled to ask about something that's been bothering me for the longest time so forgive me if this makes me look slightly ignorant. Why is female chess even a thing? Chess isn't like sports, if you put a top female basketball player against the top NBA players she'll get absolutely slaughtered because she's at a biological disadvantage, but chess is a board game so such a disadvantage doesn't really exist, so what's even the point of having a female bracket at all?
The influence is not "russian", but soviet. There was more than 24 nations within. Also, you should remember those very "russians" you adore so much were the most antisemitic people on the planet.
