complete nonsense! an absolutely beautiful move

You should make a video of the 2018 championship… People talk about it a lot but it happened during a time where no one watched chess

Man, I'm a 1500 player. When I see these games it's like algebra. You partially understand it, but you can't make it up yourself.

The best part of this is it looks like an 800 rated blunder (I've played very similar moves)

This comment section is flooded with "Levy never…" jeez

Hate to burst your bubble, but Ne7+ was the easy move. Trivial, almost. It was Qg3!! that was the brilliancy, of course, and realizing you can walk up your King and open the h-file, that was the hard part. But once you see you're getting the open h-file, seing Ne7+, as a means of preventing the King from escaping via g8 or g6, was a trvial inbetween-move that even a 1600 player would see. Also brilliant, but somewhat less so, naturally, was playing Rf1! Still a very important move, as most ppl would stop calculating after seeing Ne7+, and just assume they're winning. But yeah, playing right into … Ne2+, that's not something one does every day.

Thanks for making these opportunities in the UK, tbh I thought Americans didn't know England existed. P.S I watched your 2 year old video on how to play at a tournament, it's so helpful I was unsure about etiquette. All I knew was sit down and shut up! Now I know touch move, how to castle properly etc.

Judging from Gotham's eyes they gave him premium zaza in London

Oh yes. That gm's "oh it's really bad move, you shouldn't take my queen for free, cause it's forced mate in 130 moves"

Amazing move. I still like Fischer’s bishop retreat the best: Not only sacs a queen but leaves a knight hanging and retreats his most active piece all in one.

Stavroula is a beast. By the age of 20 she already won the world youth championship 3 times. At one point she was top 14th women U21.
I firmly believe she will become gm next year. 💪🏻

the catalan and queens gambit generally doesn't feel like a gambit at all. Basically if you're opponent stick to the pawn you crush him

Just wanna say that it is indeed Tso-la-kee-doo and not Tso-la-kee-dough

Stavroula has demonstrated her fighting spirit in chess many times (including when she won the world championship in her age group). And yes this was a "γαμάτο" i.e. gamato move. Damn!

“Browser based stock fish on a lower depth, which is what most of you operate at.”

Levi’s roasts to the audience always crack me up lol

It’s sad you didn’t cover the ETCC in more detail

Hi Levy just quick feedback. I like your normal more active style of voice over than the hotel voice. It’s what makes you unique. However totally understand why with the hotel situation etc.

how is a move brilliant and how is a move the best move? wouldn’t the brilliant move just be the best move?

man he is held hostage, somebody help this man meet magnus

that is definitely the greatest idea i’ve ever seen played over the board

Somehow Levy being calm is much more enjoyable imo

The sacrificed the rook and Levi couldn't yell 😂

"Pro chess player answers your questions" a few minutes later, and he says, "I'm not a pro."

Levy , the closest to the real pronunciation of Tsolakidou would be cholakithou

You love the London System so much you even named a city after it.

I JUST got 2 brilliant moves and a rook sacrifice and now this video?

    Kinda poetic! 🙏🏻

    levy never fails…………😅😅😅😅

I accidently got a brilliant move on the website but I didn't see the follow up moves. That's probably why I'm only 673 ELO. LOL!!!!!!

Awesome I got a ticket! See you tomorrow Levy, thanks for adding a few more! 👍👍👍

this is by far the best thumbnail I've ever seen

only you can show me the beauty of chess. Thank you

levy always fails to make boring and weird videos

maybe my queen blunders can also be brilliant sometimes)
