What a surprise and amazing chess game, easily one of the greatest World Championship Chess games ever played! How entertaining and fun to watch! Great play by Nepo and Nepo has nothing to prove (similar to Magnus) as he has competed for World Chess Champion twice all ready! Wow! ..Congrats to Ding Liren, our new World Chess Champion! What a brave winning soul!

In the last game when the pass pawn created in the A column it was very obvious the black had a strong advantage. After this all of the white's game was passive. And yet the analysts were talking about a draw even at later stages. I was sooo pissed off with these people, and as a chess player myself I'm surely rated below 1000.

This is a great example of how speed chess is killing real chess. They are two different, separate games and the title of World Champion should not come down to this. If they could play hours on end every day, why could they not have played longer on this day? Each player should have been given an hour at the beginning of each speed game and you can bet the result would be different in the end. However, congrats to Ding for clinching the championship under these conditions. Nepomniachtchi had multiple opportunities to clinch the title and failed to take every single one of them, so as much as Ding didn't do anything special to win, Nepomniachtchi certainly deserved to lose in the end.
