The SECRET To Stop Blundering Your Pieces In Chess

In this video I explain a method to stop blundering your pieces in chess. I use it all the time, and I think everyone else should too, especially in the lower ratings. This is episode 2 of my speedrun to 2000 and in this episode I’m rated 500. Hope you enjoy the video 🙂

Thank you so much Anna, I really do appreciate you. My game has now improved really improved.

Good afternoon, I am a licensed accentologist but I can't seem to be able to decode yours Miss Charming. I mean Cramilng.😁Pleased to meet you. Au chante. Tommy Thompson.

This was a great video, i often tend to overthink chess positions, when really blundering pieces is my main problem in most games i play LOL

This helped me so much. I literally went from around 5 , 6 blunders to 0 or 1 .

I blunder more won positions than you can imagine.

What a great lesson! Everyone should see this video. Just to add. London opening is quite slow. And for beginners who have reached 500 rating would, probably, be better to play longer than 5 minute games. Have seen many losses and have lost myself by timeout. just because, at this level, naturally, players need a bit more time to figure out right moves.

There is actually a 500 player ?! I thought you were joking and meaning a computer generated player at that level ! lol And I'm not talking about brand new players or children learning…

Wow. With you I can see how wrong I was when I thought that chess was boring… it obviously isn't! Thanks a lot!

Let´s play a game. We drink every time she says "defended".

It's the same advice I gave: make sure all your pieces are defended, even the ones that look to be in safe positions.

Simple trick to become a GM. Just win enough games.

You covered so much material so quickly! Total control! You are a great teacher!

Awkward….. That 500 played wayyyyyy better than expected. ha. Video was about blundering pieces and they didn't really blunder anything. Took great tactics by you to get the piece. Hey CepedaPasia… 👏👏👏

That 500 player was on fire! I would guess they were a lot better and in a slump.

this might be a beuginner mistake but i was something that was possible trough out the whole game, first queen to a4, then if opponent decides to defend with pawn to b3, biship captures, pawn captures biship then queen captures ropok at a8, then after king moves queen captures second rook. or opponents defend by blocking queen.

My blunder is to basically ignore an opponents move that obviously threatens a piece. Willful blindness?

I'M a 400 player so far, and this is a great video! thank you!

    Excellent video explaining multiple principles

That was great. Thank you. I always leave pieces hanging or have more attackers than defenders

That was really informative. Great video, thank you!

The time jumps and she gets more time. How does this work? 😉
Cool video btw! I‘m gonna try this

I blunder my pieces because I place them on squares where they are attacked…

it worked i played a game with 94 percent accuracy im 1640 i was in a 6-0 loosing streak i m very confident now

This has really helped my thinking and hence my play. Thankyou Anna.

I forget your name so I searched like "chess blonde", and I am here.

Every game I play is a blundering speed run… sometimes I win sometimes I lose, but I always blunder

Anna this is great I have tried to put this into practice and my results have improved, last 9 games are W7/L1/D1.

This chick has more teeth in her mouth than a sabre-tooth tiger. God help the guy who kisses her.

Explaining your moves thoroughly when you have <20 seconds left on the clock: crazy shenanigans!
