The SECRET To Stop Blundering Your Pieces In Chess

In this video I explain a method to stop blundering your pieces in chess. I use it all the time, and I think everyone else should too, especially in the lower ratings. This is episode 2 of my speedrun to 2000 and in this episode I’m rated 500. Hope you enjoy the video 🙂

Thank you for your guidance and wisdom!!!

When I was watching the video I was wondering how she understand alot for a 500 rated player. I said she may study more than she play, then I noticed that I was totally wrong.

This video is so good. I played chess a long time ago for fun, but never thought about protecting my pieces at all time. Very good advice !

Why exchange? I would have never done that.

I have played 675 games. I'm still stick under 400 elo for the past year.

Great video, Anna. Thanks for the tips!

This is actually a great line to play in the London.

Why would I sabotage the beauty of my 600 elo games? I blunder the queen, the opponent counters by blundering his queen, i keep my queen under attack because I haven't realized it is, and get his queen, he gets demoralized and forgets to take mine, I finally realize mine was under attack. If I start caring about blundering pieces it all goes out the window.😎

The probability is higher that people will be redirected to this clip … because apparently a naked prostitute can be seen on the tumbnail …

@13:19 I believe the word you're looking for is "shenanigans"! 🙂

04:06 yeah.. but N occupying e5 is the main idea of the London. So – as soon it's possible, I'd do it.
08:42 So this would be the moment Andrea Botez starts to make funny noises, like: 'bang.. bang.. bang'

She so calm, I will make 10 blunder when I only got 10second left

The beauty of Chess – Time, space and matter

    13:16 "I'm not gonna go for crazy shenan… – what's the word?" Shenanigans 🙂

Looking at this video because I'm blunder my pieces? No, I'm looking at the video because you're cute and have a friendly manner.

OMG ANNA PLAY A GODDAMN MOVE 😀 the time tension is killing me

Thanks, Anna. At the moment, blundering is my number one weakness. I'll try to follow this advice and see how it improves my games.

I am a GM of blundering. I think blundering the queen away in the opening is the best way to bamboozle your opponent, and gain the advantage. I call this opening , My Queen Damnbit

Anna, How did you manage to increase your remaining time while the game was on. At 14:20 you had only 9 seconds left whereas at 14:22 you had 13 seconds left and later at 14:30 you had 17 seconds, the time remaining kept increasing as the game progressed. Strange 😮

    How do the clocks work?
It was distracting to see your clock say you were out of time, them give you more time

Anna: "I know the trick to not blundering"
Also Anna: "Yes, Levy, I blunder my queen far more often than you think, probably"

The word youre looking for is Shenanigans 🙂

She's smart as well as gorgeous. Love your videos Anna. Great to remember always have pieces defended. Also remember which pieces are defending if you want to move them or they get attacked then what they are defending becomes vulnerable.

I think the word you wanted was "shenanigans," Anna!

I mean this with the greatest respect. Your enthusiastic presentation has re enthused my old live of chess.
