with you, Chess seems so beautiful and wining so easy

Excellent! Igor…I wish my Russian was as good as your english…

Really good ,these traps are so effective and cunning ,please explain BxN

There's really no line for white to win or conserve equality? 😮

what if they play knight c3 defending the pawn? is the strat dead?

something interesting to learn 🙂 Thanks..is this noted somewhere so I can repeat if to memory?

What if my opponent pins the knight with the bishop after I play d5 ?

Weird, I actually found myself playing the Vienna with black earlier today ha ha

Just got into chess. Will be studying all your videos….slowly lol. Thanks for the content.

At 3:39, and after Black's …Bd7 threatening …Be8, White may be able to save the WQ with 11g5 though Black still has a great game

I love this Gambit, along with the Luccini and the similar Jaenish against the Ruy Lopez, for blitz and bullet. Especially as I play the Vienna as white. I feel that the very sharp lines improve my tactical development and piece coordination. I always played the Caro before, but now that's just for slower time controls.

In Trap 2 after move 5…f4, white simply follow with 6.h4 and all idea doesn't work anymore.

Igor, I’ve noticed on some videos that the queen is set up on the right side of the king, and other videos the queen is set up on the left side of the king. Can you explain this to me? Thanks.

In trap 2, what if instead of white Kn f7 attacking black Q & R, white moves Q h5?

Ok, in trap 3 in this vid I got 2x questions: a) So when black takes pawn e4, what if they go pawn e5 instead of Kn d5? b) When black goes Kn f6 counter attack on white Q, what if white's response is B g5 instead?

In the 2nd variation 7:29 how about the king moves in d2 with the queen protecting the rook

Igor.. you are a star! – Thanks for sharing.

nice tricks for bullet game, i've always loved your content

I always used that opening but i never sustained..now i know thank you..

    I must like your English!
"gangster chess opening", "punished for early agression", "silent killer move" 👌🥊🙂

I like this men chatty voice, like one housemaid is explaining another what is better for soup carrot or celery.

    в конце вариант из перевернутого венского) .. как это часто бывает идеи при схожем построении перекликаются (1.e4 e5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.f4 d5 4.fe Ne4 5.d3!? Qh5 6.g3 Ng3 7.Nf3 Qh4 8.Nd5 Na6 9.Nf4! Qh6 10.Ne2 +- )

I played the response to white's e4 just as you described and got the checkmate with Qf3 exactly as shown! Totally pumped by that!

great opening but needs strong nerves! It appeals to me as it leads to many complications. I play a lot of blitz chess and so you dont have a lot of time to think so this opening might be worth a try. Thanks for your excellent exposition.

Kakav vam je to jezik 😂 (pričaj srpski da te ceo svet razume☝️)

I played it once and won the game, but not like that I took his queen. They made a mistake. They Blundered and was easy. Thank you.

Wow. Awesome. Just what I need to avoid the fried liver attack. THANK YOU. 😀

I just skip the preliminaries and go straight to the Latvian Gambit. White is always totally gob smacked

I've started watching your videos recently.. but it seems.. more often then not, that your "tricky openings" only work when the oponent play sub optimal moves..

I’ve been playing this gambit non stop for the past year. Bout time it deserves some love. Also works in the Ruy Lopez game.

Time to put my Traxler's Gambit away with my baby toys and get past 1200 ELO.

Your enthusiasm, Your abilities, You are such a GREAT !!! GREAT Teacher !!! Thanks GM Smirnov !!!

This is one of the most fun gambits I have come across in a very long time

Thank you as always GM Smirnov.. your videos are always fun to watch and learn from

There is one line with d3 which basically ruins all our plans it is when after d3 they white play Kc3 instead of Kg5 move…

Igor at 9:12 why wouldn’t white just move knight to h8, taking the rook with a discovered check? This sequence makes me wary of using this gambit if white goes 4.d4.
