00:00 Hello Everyone!
04:50 CRAZZY MOVE

Norway Chess is a 10-player round-robin featuring Top 5 stars Magnus Carlsen, Alireza Firouzja and Hikaru Nakamura taking place in Stavanger, Norway from 30 May to 9 June. Each of the 9 rounds consists of a classical game where a win is worth 2 points and a loss 0. If the players draw they play an Armageddon game, where the winner earns 1.5 points and the loser 1 point. No draw offers are allowed before move 30.

The 3+2 blitz opener takes place on Monday 29th and will give the winners the chance to pick their pairing numbers for the main event. The classical time control is 2 hours for all moves, with a 10-second increment per move only after move 40. For Armageddon White (the same player who had White in the classical game) has 10 minutes to Black’s 7, with a 1-second increment from move 41. Black wins if the game ends in a draw. A tie for 1st place will be decided by two 3+2 blitz games followed, if necessary, by a 5 vs. 4-minute Armageddon game. Official website: norwaychess.no

After a tough couple of recent years, Fabiano is back! Hoping to see an improved version of 2018 Fabi

Fabian completely destroyed and humiliated Alireza, wow!

Great game by Fabi but wat kind of reckless chess is this from Alireza -.- This looks like bullet rather than classical

That thumbnail hahahaahahahahaa there's a snake in my boots

    πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ this is a violation

That was a really nice French defense. Go Fabi!

Why does Fabi not look like Fabi AT ALL in the thumbnail πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The first two ranks aren’t visible in landscape mode.

we need some cooler fabi pics for the little picture on the side of the board

i always think Fabi is a proper no#2 after Magnus in classical

    Firooza spanked hard
    Future world champion πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Wow Alireza played like me when I play against the computer!!!

"it's merely a matter of pushing pawns" — agad 20203

Fabi the only challenger who lost to Magnus in world chess championship in the tie breaks (not in classical 14 games). My favourite then in 2018, my favourite still

At 6:40, why not rook to d2 blocking mate and forcing a trade?

Don't meme our Chess players. I do not like the hat meme on Fabi…

See at 3.20 when knight retreats after dislodging King. Was Knight CxE6 ever an option? Two central pawns for piece looks interesting but I haven’t got a good computer to analyse

Fabi's been busy. He removed my appendix Friday and then pulled me over for a broken tail light this morning.

One question after Qxc2 white can short castle. Why Alireza didn't do it???

    𝕗𝕠𝕣π•₯π•Ÿπ•šπ•₯𝕖 𝕓𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕀 𝟜𝟚𝟘 says:

legend has it that alireza wanted to play the italian that game

Fabiano Caruana. What is he, the third highest rated chess player in history or something? HE'S BACK. Back where he belongs: at the top. Lookout Ding. Lookout Nepo. Fancy a comeback, Carlsen? Not so easy now, me thinks. For whatever reason Fabi dropped of the grid for a while there. But I think this, and other recent results, has demonstrated that Caruana is well and truly back on The Scene. And the world of chess is better for it.

For you all games are "incredible." WTH?
