Hi Levi, if you are interested in the history of chess bots, would you consider making a video on Turochamp? Alan Turing the codebreaker invented the world's 1st chess bot in 1948…. 3 years before computers could even play chess! You used pen and paper to run the algorithm and make the moves. Kasparov played against the programme in 2012 at a conference.

I had reached 1200 a few days before watching this video my gaining 200 elo in one day, because I was stuck at 1000 for months. The thing that I fixed, and most people need to fix and Gotham recommends constantly, is use your time, at least 8 minutes total for rapid games

For anyone who's rated 400 trying to get to 1200 it's simple. Start learning (memorizing) lines and the plans of your favorite opening. Stop playing the first couple of moves from your head. If you want to improve, at any level, learning theory is a must.
