The 2024 Freestyle Chess G.O.A.T. Challenge is an over-the-board Chess960 classical tournament featuring Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren, Alireza Firouzja, Fabiano Caruana, Gukesh, and more. The Freestyle Chess G.O.A.T. Challenge consists of a rapid and a main event, both in the Chess960 variant. In total, there is a $200,000 prize pool to be played for at the Weissenhaus Private Nature Luxury Resort, Germany.

I want Double Fischer Random Chess!!! Pieces are set up according to Chess960 rules, however unlike Fischer Random Chess, black and white have different starting positions. It has 921,600 (960*960) possible starting positions.
I like this format but hopefully in the future it can be expanded, or have a qualification. All great players that Magnus handpicked but there’s other great 960 players not featured here, so to me the prize isn’t all that prestigious

really need some work on the stream presentation. can't see both players name on the board or their heart rate or the time on their clock. volume is off for the commentators. hire someone or do better. i can't even watch half of this cuz im just over it
As commentators she needs to go. seriously, her voice does not match the vibe of the game, voice is annoying. makes me not want to watch any of it knowing i can mute her and she still speaks. seriously get rid of her.
