playing an impromptu game with one of the strongest players in the world can catch you off guard

if i pull my pants down and spin 3 times i have mate in 1 according to you ! FFS, you are ElO50 chess

best woman to ever play the chess is nona gafrindashvili !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

23 moves not 19..someone doesn’t know how to count.

I liked the voice of the narration, but the actual commentary on the play and strategy of the game was atrocious.

Yahshua – you know Him as Jesus – was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, calmed the storm, and fed a crowd of thousands with a few fish and a few loaves of bread on two separate occasions, among many other things. He was killed on the cross as payment for the sins of all mankind, three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus/God (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 and Revelation 2:10). Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came in the flesh to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name!

if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. – Romans 10:9 KJV

Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. – Matthew 26:6-13 KJV

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

To anoint your self, the sick, or a building for spiritual protection:

Get a small bottle of olive oil and pour off a small amount into a smaller vessel like a vial or baby food jar. Use the rest of the bottle for cooking. Ask the Lord to bless your vial of oil in Jesus name. Anoint yourself with the oil by placing a dab of oil on tip of finger and touch it to your forehead, and ask the Lord to bless you/heal you. To anoint your home or other building: place a dab of oil on your finger and anoint the door posts and order all negativity and evil out of the house, and order that nothing negative or evil can enter into your home including piggybacking on a person entering, order it to be so in the name of Jesus. Anoint all potential entrances to your home. To anoint the sick: place oil on tip of finger and touch it to the head of the sick and say a prayer of healing over them in Jesus name. See James Chapter 5:14-15.,,.

The way you narrate these chess matches reminds me of either unsolved mysteries or those when animals strike

Why was this video developed like a true crime/ripley’s believe it or not video? Lol

I love the narration, explaining the game to someone who knows how to play but is very bad. Subbed.

Who knew airplane disaster style commentary worked so well also in chess!

I feel like I'm watching an episode of 60 minutes

I might be wrong, but I think Judith have played, and won, against every living world champion (and some dead). 11 in total, including Carlsen.

Nice commentary preceded by a nice little intro to the player.
overall great video AND with a great channel name? I'm in

this is the BEST chess match coverage I have EVER heard.

That analysis can mean only one thing WE DID IT!!! LETS RESCUE TRAPPED SOULS

why does the narrator sound like the same guy from those cops shows?

Magnus did not play very seriously in this match.

Goes to shoe you that no matter how good you are at something, there is always someone else that can beat you.

I love the style of chess video! I love the intense music, the detailed analysis, the stunning animations and strong voice of the narrator. If you keep making videos like these I'm sure you'll become one of the most prominent chess youtubers out there!

3:08 Carlsen was not "forced" to take the pawn on g4… maybe I'm missing something, but moving to e5 would have been much better. If Polgar captures with her knight, Carlsen recaptures with his bishop and they are even in material again, plus he has the strong bishop-pawn combo protecting the e file. If I could see that in 10 seconds, he surely could have.

Much more likely, he was expecting Polgar to capture the knight with her pawn, exposing her kingside rook to his bishop on white. Or he saw it as a free pawn because the only protector was pinned. When she slid the rook over to g1, he should have snatched her h2 pawn – if she didn't immediately capture it with her queen, then (depending on what she did do) he has options to take the f1 bishop or f3 pawn. Taking the f3 pawn forks the white queen and bishop on black. She would either take back (winning him a tempo at the cost of a knight for 2 pawns – not a horrible deal) or she would guard the f3 pawn by moving the f1 bishop, he takes, she retakes, and now he took 3 pawns while losing the knight.

Granted, taking her g pawn left his own g7 pawn horribly exposed to her rook, but if Polgar brought more force to bear on the king side, Carlsen would simply castle queenside. Or bring his h8 rook to f8.

His one big mistake, as I read it, was retreating the knight to h6. That made him retreat his bishop to protect the g7 pawn (advancing it 1 square would have had the same result). But moving the knight again to f5 would have protected the g7 pawn AND attacked that nasty d4 bishop.

Just saying, he had a lot of ways out. He got beat by the time crunch more than anything.

Fitting how the narration sounds like a true crime documentary

2000th subscriber possibly! If not, then sub 2000, yay. Early congrats on 2000 subs!

commentary is pretty intense, quite opposite to the mood of players / audience.

Judit is one of my favorite players. She has some of the best attacking chess. I love her style.

if magnus can lose to a girl… there is chance for me to beat him one day

That was way too dramatic for a chess game in a park

This game is beautifully presented in this video, play by play. I loved it!

    Congratulations on 1.96k subs

Awesome narration and graphics. I subscribed, and thank you for sharing the details about this woman with me. I’ve never heard of her.

Wow, you're commentating on a game you know nothing about. Black moves a pawn to f3? As I watch the video gets worse and worse at 4:30 the bishop is no longer at b6, rather it's in the previous square. You discuss how dangerous this move is but don't even show it and skip to the next move. This is all-around terrible. Why did you decide to create a chess channel with no understanding of the game?

Holy shite, you’re commentary is sooo annoying. Makes this unwatchable

narrator absolutely sucks and who ever wrote the script is a fool

If this had happened to him in a tournament he would not be laughing. It is good to see he can be lighthearted about it.

The sound effects and music are super distracting and out of place.

The game is as casual as it gets and they are playing in a parc. Good to see Polgar is still a tactical beast, but it’s nothing super extraordinary.

The match was nice but you didn’t let us think what’s happening as you are not only explaining the moves also continuously saying she will win, she will win. It was annoying for me at least try not to do it

It's important to know the difference between a rated match and a casual banter blitz game. You never count one of these games as someone beating Magnus. And beat countless times in banter blitz even by people like Naroditsky, Ferouzja, Hikaru, and even lower-rated players. You should know that Magnus at this point has probably played a couple of people during the day and there's absolutely no prep. Secondly, in these games, Super GMs usually want to draw their opponent into a deep dark forest by playing something dubious. The last time you find him playing that variation in rated chess is when he is a teenager. Unless it's one of these recent online games. Judit however is an amazing player, a legend not to take anything from her. Lastly, a tactical win in banter blitz doesn't really count for outplaying the world champion. Judit remains a legend!!!

Not here to question Magnus, cause the dude's a chess genius, but couldn't he have taken the bishop with his rook after it took his queen? It would have removed the threat of the bishop and the queen wouldn't have been in a position to defend that bishop a turn later?

There will always be someone better than you

This video is to chess what F1:Drive to Survive is to F1
