This is not even a great game. Wesley outplayed him until he just blundered. This is not about Alireza's brilliance but about Wesley's rare brain fart. You should have instead featured underdogs Lazavik or Martinez who outplayed MVL and Nepo respectively.

Suggestion# Agadmator I’m wondering if you might cover the Hans situation where he’s currently been banned by the St. Louis Chess Club over some damage he did inside prestigious hotel during a recent tournament he was in where St. Louis chess club has issued statement Hans will not be invited to future tournaments because of the ‘bad’ behavior

Great Game I can see how Wesley So would struggle trying to figure Alireza’s tactics and moves usually you look at the set up on a board and can sort of calculate what your opponents next moves will probably be this game made that very difficult fun game to watch thanks for the game enjoy your day

Wesley So just blunder, actually He is winning in the whole game, that is the assessment of the game. When Alireza push g3 the correct response for Wesley is fxg3 and already winning.

Gonna be really interesting to see what Alireza can bring to the candidates. Still think Fabi will take it, and then the crown, as he's just above the rest lately (of those playing for it).

Wesley stepped into it big time . These guys have such sharp tactical eyeballs that Aljreza probably saw it instantly .

Both are my favourites but Alireza is more fierce attacker, he either wins or loses, no matter what, he rarely plays for draw, just like Dubov and Rapport, as usual excellent explanation by my brother Antonio ❤️

My favorite thing is when Antonio says “the first game ended in a draw, and this one most certainly did not”

Why do I keep forgetting about our good friend the bishop?

    Let’s goooo ..
Firouzja vs Jose playing Martinez today 🔥

I don’t like the title..we all know how

I again forgot about our good friend the light square bishop 😅 6:55

Wei Yi should be in the candidate. He is the hottest chess player right now. He's on fire and has the best chance of winning it.

Wesley is known being a choke artist in important games, kinda expected

You can’t play tactics with Alireza, this is what he does 24/7

I always forget about our good friend the bishop, especially when he is on a2.

Inflating ratings to qualify for candidates is different from playing online chess

If wesley is desperate to be in the candidates he can also do what alireza did..one game is not a measurement of who is stronger than the other. In fact So is more titled than his opponent.

'There will always be someone who is willing to grind on holidays'

So dont have the guts to take risk he plays passive frequently thats why hes not converting winning positions like this

Just started, but already liked your video. Your commentary always makes me happy!

Damn! These guys' ratings are above Magnus! XD

Bishop G2 what a Super Grandmaster Move from Alireza, for me the next World Champion

That is Def a fishing quote, with Chess inserted for fishing… But yes, tomato, tomahto.

    Absolute yo-yo game! Swinging wildly!

Alireza is just too lucky, most of his wins are when opponent plays a bad move

I feel like alireza and dubov are the only dark horse of today's chess world, you can never bet against them no matter the opponent, they might just get completely outplayed or they just destroy the opponent with some brilliant idea, some sacrifices, just all around fireworks when they play, super fun and interesting.

The candidates are usually won by solid play and luck.
Even Carlsen barely scraped through. Ding won the title with incredible luck.
The last World Champion who didn't need luck was probably Spassky.

Wesley is a Kunt… he is no match to any of the top 10 players … glad that Alireza is in the candidate and not Wesly

I hope Alireza qualifies and wins the WCC. So Magnus will comeback and finally get the match up he wanted

Impressive that Alireza walked consciously into the traps set by So 's prep and still came out winning, and as black too.
