No one in the world could have recapped the Gukesh v Firouzja game as dramatic and entertaining as Levy. Just wow!!

Levy is the only person who can give goosebumps through his commentary on a chess game!!! What an epic recap of an epic day of chess!

No matter what your title is your commentary in unmatched. You make chess interesting. Keep it up.

Most entertaining recap in Chess history EVER!

Thank you Levy for covering the womens games. Hardly anyone else does it.

should magnus carlsen play in the next Candidates if gukesh actually becomes world champion this year?

The fact that the parings worked out so beautifully in the final round

    Gukeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Loving the commentary, suspense etc, great job Levy.

Your commentary is absolutely genius. You've made me fall in love with the game sir!

Naka and ian pussiest draw when both agreed to draw scared to lose proved for me, both are not champions. Gukesh for the win. Also world finally stop calling firouzja young prodigy (he is older than abdusattorov, pragg, gukesh, all of them invaded super gm club already)

Excuse me: What is ur rating? There are only 2k GM's in the world. There r only 3900 IM's in the world. Levi has more skill in chess than 99.99999% of the estimated # of people who play chess. [400 MILLION] KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK LEVI!

Omg that last game of gukesh, Gotham hats off to u for making ki so damn good.❤❤

Had Gukesh not let his win against Alireza slip earlier, he'd already be the clear winner with +6 on his debut candidates

Why do you disrespect the women's games so much?

I feel for Gukesh. He has played brilliantly. And now he is going to be facing Hikaru with the white pieces in a must win game. I am heart broken for him. Hikaru is not going to lose or draw.

Hopefully gukesh doesn’t win the tournament his so gross and Indian

I wants the chess deck to go with my book! Ill wait for the preorders be available in the uk 🙂

This review played like a movie. There were 3-4 instances where I had goosebumps

Firouzja should be ashamed. Qualified in a ridiculous way just to show up and give free points away at the end

    'Hika-wu' 😂😂
Thank you for spending a year to do your deck of chess, Levy! 👍👍

rooting for gukesh, he had a dream of becoming the youngest world champion and he is about to…. love you guki❤

Is Alirezas candidates the worst ever for someone of his rating?

33:39 heavy anime villain epic scene vibes . “ no draw.”
reminds me of JJK Gojo activating infinite void

At 26:13 you could have shown that if you take with the rook, which is what 95% of us would do in time scramble, it's a draw because of Rd1. Chess is hard.

Watching many chess streamers. Honestly levy is by a huge margin, a second to none where comes to strong and captivating chess presentation skills, this guy really makes chess enjoyable to watch ❤

Levy's commentary is so damn good…Its like I am watching a cricket or Football match…Thanks for the recap

Fair play to Pragg for putting up such a decent defence against Fabiano seeing as he couldn’t win the tournament unless he continuously won and leaders lost. Not fun when you know a win probably still won’t win you the tournament.

I think Levy and many people will be rooting for a Gokesh draw because if he wins again the other games won’t matter. Great to see him fight for the win, a risk that paid off. No need to be old or experienced to win the candidates.

Also, despite him not being in first place anymore it’s amazing how Nepo still hasn’t lost a game after 13 rounds, just shows how many risks other players have been taking to compete.

The person in the world that can be most energic talking about chess

I am glad you captured the incredible tension and amazing brilliance of this round so well! What Gukesh accomplished with computerlike precision and so little time was breathtaking to watch live!

This man is the hype king!!! Great content as usual, also super happy to see you commentating live!

All of these recaps have made the tournament way more exciting than I've found any other chess tournament, thanks Levy! I mean, it is naturally exciting too, but the way you present everything just makes everything so much more thrilling.

What the F*** did i just watch? This is unbelivable.

I'm just very disappointed in the way he thinks we germans would pronounce "Hikaru". 🙁

I'm calling it, the title on the next video will be "HE DID IT!!!"

36:48 can not overstate*. If you say you can't understate, it means even the lowest estimate (He was not clutch at all) is not an understatement.

what do you think of tunde onakoyas world record. he played for 60 hours straight
