Rapid tournament completed in Shusha

The first stage of the competition with the participation of eminent grandmasters has ended in Azerbaijan. Final standings after rapid (double scoring): Mamedyarov – 15 out of 18, Vidit, Maghsoodloo – 13, Durarbayli – 10, Radjabov, Wang Hao – 9, Kasimdzhanov – 7, Mamedov – 6, Yilmaz – 5, Guseinov – 3.

Among women, the participants settled down as follows: Dzagnidze – 15 out of 18, Ozturk – 12, Arabidze, Balajayeva, Beydullayeva – 9, Mammadova, Efroimski, Zavadska – 8, Mammadzada – 7, Fataliyeva – 5.

Now the participants will play two rounds of blitz.
