Magnus had Tor eating bread crumbs all the way into the deepest darkest parts of the forest of Tal

I wish this game was captured on video so that I could see the opponents face when an 11-year old does this.

The adult player’s nightmare. You turn up and find you are playing a young child – the ultimate banana skin. Still, Tor Gulbrandsen probably feels a lot better about it now!

The pure imagination that a chess players absolutely insists to get their Queen taken is how you become great. Wonderful game.

I wouldnt have seen the queen sac unless it was a pause the video moment. Incredible

TF is that Qxa1, as a normie i didnt even have the slightest idea lmao. ABSOLUTE DEMOLITION by Magnus at 11 yrs old

In case you didn’t get it even after the title of the video, it would be rude to not let him win

We need some more of your games!!!! Where did they go??

Wow….I can't believe watching an 11 year old play so aggressively.

He admits to making stupid moves. This a ponderous and stupid.

And at 11 years, the only thing I knew was candy and biscuits.

Lesson of the day: life is all about sacrifices.

Love these games especially players with around 2000 rating. Still phenomenal moves but a bit easier to understand from a perspective of noob like myself. At the highest level, these guys are just playing like computers even beyond their preparation. For most people very hard to understand some of those moves. Great video!

Of course any 11 years old player could play like that 😁

I can't believe I got this one. I never get these Qs.

Amazing game. Holy Mother of god, Magnus

Hmmm, I think this kid might have some potential.

Hmmm, I think this kid might have some potential.

saw it, but never would have without the title

my God if I was playing against a 11 year old boy and did this to me I would be absolutely terrified 😨

I nominated this game for the greatest queen sacrifice of 2002.

Hey agad! If you're seeing this comment please cover the "pearl of poznan" game played in 1931 it features a SPECTACULAR endgame sequence which would be enjoyable to watch

and now he is the most boring player ever

Me @ 11 years old: licking the glass on the front door of my house
    Magnus @11:

rook sacrifice was also out of nowhere for me

For young Magnus, the queen is just a cool missile

Good tactical eye for someone so young .

I thought Alireza was also playing in the German 960 tournament too?

Another missed opportunity to say "… simplifies into a Jan Gustafsson rook-and-pawn endgame".

I've heard Counterplayless is the working title of season two of Queen's Gambit on Netflix

Funny that the computer version of playing Magnus at various ages, doesn't have this level of brilliance. Quite easy to beat him at 11 on the computer.

I remember seeing a magnus game in the paper newspaper, and he was like 9 or something and it blew my mind because of its unpredictability. I had no idea what he was doing and I was following chess in those days. Little did I suspect his imminent take-off towards the pantheon of chess. I mean, after all he was norwegian

I need to keep reporting such games as child abuses
