GREAT VIDEO LEVI
Levy stared somewhere else this time… Are you cheating on us?!
first ad that i found interesting… levy you surprise me everytime
I don't understand why people cheat how are you going to flex your elo when you obviously didn't earn it.
GothamChess is a popular chess YouTube channel run by Levy Rozman, who is known for his entertaining and educational chess content. One of the features of the channel is the "Pin of Shame," which is a segment where Rozman showcases a particularly bad chess move made by a player, usually someone who has sent in their game for analysis. While the Pin of Shame may seem harmless at first glance, it is actually morally unjustifiable for several reasons.
Firstly, the Pin of Shame is a form of public humiliation. When Rozman features a player's mistake on his channel, he is exposing that person's incompetence to his large audience. This can be especially harmful if the player is a beginner or a young person who is still learning the game. Being publicly called out for a mistake can be embarrassing and demotivating, and can discourage people from continuing to pursue their interest in chess.
Secondly, the Pin of Shame encourages a culture of negativity and criticism. By focusing on the mistakes made by players, the segment reinforces the idea that chess is a game of perfection, where even a single misstep can be catastrophic. This can create an unhealthy and overly competitive environment, where players are more concerned with avoiding mistakes than with enjoying the game and learning from their experiences.
Thirdly, the Pin of Shame perpetuates the idea that chess is a game of elitism, where only the best and most skilled players are worthy of respect. By showcasing the mistakes made by less experienced players, the segment reinforces the notion that there is a hierarchy in the chess world, where those who are not at the top are inferior and not worth taking seriously. This can be discouraging for people who are new to the game or who do not have the same level of skill as the top players.
In conclusion, the Pin of Shame on the GothamChess YouTube channel is morally unjustifiable because it promotes public humiliation, negativity, and elitism in the chess world. While it may seem like harmless fun, it can have a real and negative impact on the people whose mistakes are featured in the segment, as well as on the wider chess community. Instead of focusing on mistakes and errors, we should encourage a culture of learning, growth, and inclusivity in the chess world, where everyone is welcome to participate and improve their skills.
to be fair, instead of banning cheaters and then make them make an other account again and again where they will most likely cheat again, why not just put them on a blacklist where they only face other cheaters ?

that second game was crazy
great video levi
As funny as this is, it's also a bit sad. Cause it just shows that more and more people are cheating, and basically ruining the best game in the world.
And I ain't no moral apostle, preaching not to cheat in life or games. in most games i'm like, whatever. But in chess it feels sad and pointless when people do it.
Is Hans back?
Great Video Levi
im just some nobody but i would really love to see you cover 2 cheaters where the game ends in a loop and it becomes a game of who can manage their time best lol
great video levi
I played an 0-0-0-0 game today with 94.4 accuracy 🙂 But that sometimes happens on the grind to 1000

Unfortunately, ñ
I've been watching Gotham since months and just now realised that I'm not subbed yet just because YT has been recommending me every video/short anyway lol
Instead of using a cheat that gives you the best moves they should use a cheat that doesn't allow them to play bad moves. It's still unfair but at least they get to figure out the moves on their own without blundering anything away.
I stop my whole life when Levy posts a new video
When Gothan runs out of ideas he doesn't steal from other people, he steals from himself.
How can levy review one of your chess games
Gotta love a double ban!
