I originally didn't think the last example was a desperado, but now I see why it is. I originally was just looking at the queen, rook, bishop, and king, but see that material will definitely be lost if they don't take the bishop and queen as white.

Without taking the bishop he can take the queen and win a queen
No matter whose move it is, you take the bishop with check and then take the free queen.
