Sorry, Anna. You played well. But blitz does not seem to be your forte. Playing well means very little in blitz when you're down to your last minute and your opponent has more time than you do. At some point in the game you are no longer a protagonist in the game. The only protagonist now is the clock, as in fact it always has been, from the very beginning.
Blitz is one game, chess is another game.
Play faster than your opponent and don't get mated, and you win every game, no matter how "well" your opponents have played.
And vice versa, play slower than your opponents, and even play exceedingly well, but are not able to mate your opponent, no matter how badly she/he plays, you will lose every game.
But you know all of this.
Good thing you're not in the US that daddy would show up with a Glock and accuse you of being "woke" for smiling and being kind to the people you beat.

I think it's really difficult to change one's playing style. You still have to calculate in critical positions because that seems to be a strength of yours. So, playing faster is probably not the best goal. Maybe, instead, most of the time play good moves and not waste time trying to find the best moves so often? You probably do that most of the time, already. But particularly in games with no increment, maybe, set a goal to not get behind your opponent on time? If you don't get behind, you have an advantage later in games because you are so good in time crunch situations.
but the whole point of this gamemode is to play with time. the opponent is in a same position. the same way if they had more time, they would probably play even better. can not blame it on time in a game with equal setting
