Would you say your the medical profession equivalent a PA in your chess progression. A PA is not a doctor but goes through a lot of college courses and degrees. Definitely not a easy career path. Just many years short of doctor title.

Actually I'm happy that you have regained your motivation or at least a little of it to become a GM. It can be seen that your level in the openings is even above that of several GMs and that perhaps you are really not that far from becoming one. You’ll become a GM Levy! You have too much passion in the game not to. If you get anxious that must mean your sense of worth is somehow tied to your chess performance. A limiting belief like that comes from trauma. People think trauma has to be something “big” like war or being robbed but that is only one type of trauma. The root of your problem goes back to your earliest experiences, the trauma from which is stored in your body in the form of tension and this wound gets agitated when you play chess, though chess itself is not the cause. It will eventually heal, such is the nature of life. The nature of tension is to be released. It cannot sustain itself. You got this bro!

At 01:07 Levy says "worldwind" instead of "whirlwind". This is the kind of stuff that will keep a man up at night. Once he realises what he's done there it could be the end for him as a player. He may never win a game of chess again after this slip of the tongue, let alone become grand master. Such are the small margins for error at the top level. What a way to go.
