Whoever had the arrogance to tell Hikaru not to call xQc X cause they aren’t friends like that, needs reality check and should be embarrassed af to act like your parasocial life watching xQc every day makes you his friend and gives you some superior authority to tell others if they are his friend or not and what they can/can’t call him. News flash X has no idea who you are, you’re not his friend, and Hikaru being his coach for pog champs has spent more time engaging with X 1 on 1 than you ever have by attempting to get his attention commenting in his chat. Fortunately for whoever that was, I have to pause the savagery so my comment doesn’t get removed by YouTube. Surely your parents are proud raising a child that tries to tell off one of the best chess players in the world. Kids the days are despicable.
It's an enigma for me how a chess player of Hikaru's caliber gets his head around games <1000 elo level. It feels like he's genuinely trying to get into the tactical minds of the players while the players are just praying their opponent blunders 😆

Glad to see you making more content about other creators. I'm not pro at this, cause I might have millions of clicks, but not millions of subs, so I was nothing but a tiny fish, but I'll say this anyways: I suspect your push to 5 million will be helped by videos with other big creators. I've been following this creator space since 2006, so more or less almost since its dawn, so I don't know nothing.

One thing, an extra pawn means nothing at this level, heck even a piece down doesn't. I like when he says, that's an extra pawn so should win 🙂 That's only for people competent at chess, and higher level. The rest of us, the game goes on.
Edit: I'm half as good as X, so that mean it's even worse than that.

I think beating XQC was maybe the most surreal moment in me playing online chess. I couldn't believe it was actually him. I'll be honest tho he was probably half awake because it was late at night and he just stopped playing pretty much after he blundered his knight. Good times…

That “please don’t call him X” guy clearly wasn’t around during the PogChamps tournament where Hikaru trained xQc.
I think not trading the queens is down to that phobia we lower rated players have of losing the (theoretically) most valuable piece on the board. I could do it if it leads to mate but otherwise I’d most likely be averse to it myself.
I probably wouldn’t hang as many pieces though 😂
So nice of xqc to allow Hikaru to observe and learn from his game. He is a great teacher!
