Your Chess 2 is good, but I know how to improve it, the pieces (not fishes) can be put into jail too, but they are on death row for assisting the king and queen. They can only be saved if the monkey is assisted by the elephant, the elephant starts the game holding a banana in it’s trunk (it loses it as it gives the banana to the monkey as a reward), If the pieces are not saved in 10 moves, they are put in the execution chamber where they are DEAD!!
The Bear is not controlled by any player, it is controlled by stockfish (This only applies to online chess because duh). If the bear reaches the piece it is targeting, it KILLS it, not captures, KILLS!! The piece never goes to a jail, it is a dead piece (Shown by being grayed out and on it’s side), a dead piece can be used by the monkey but is not a real piece, any other pieces can go on top of it, but that’s the end of your turn, only on the next turn can that piece move from the dead piece’s spot on the board.
The Royal Jails are on the opponents side of the board, the regular one (for the other pieces except fishes) are on the sides of the board. The elephant is where the bishop is today, the fish is not on the back rank.
The bear CAN break through the regular jail’s bars, but doing so wastes a turn (basically making the bear not prefer going to the jail to kill the pieces before death row).
That is all, if you think these changes are good then heads up, ima suggest some changes for your money system too. Nothing major, your Money thing is probably the best one so far because of the shape difference for each kind of dollar.
Also please don’t take this personally, just making the game more enjoyable and putting your Chess 2 to it’s full potential.
