back in 8th grade, my bsf and i attempted to develop our blindfold chess skills (we only did it just bc). we first started by drawing the chess board on a paper but without the pieces. it took us long to visualize the pieces moving but we were able to play a bit. we improved. we grew apart tho, so idk if the method we have would've been effective but we started playing faster as time went by before growing apart.
