The Pro Chess League is a $150,000 16-player team tournament taking place on, featuring Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Anish Giri and many more top players. The first five weeks are a Swiss tournament that will see half the teams eliminated before the Playoffs, which are an 8-team knockout.

Each team has 6-10 players, but only 4 play each week, with an average rating cap of 2550 and at least one woman in each line-up. Each member of the team plays each member of the opposing team at 10+2 rapid chess. In case of a tie the players play another round of games at a faster time control.

  1. If agad shows this game really happened 😜👍😂

  2. Glad to see Abhimanyu Mishra learning from the SuperGMs.

  3. The kid had him totally nullified and then he just blunders a piece. You know that is gonna hurt forever.

  4. Indians ❤️ chess !!!

  5. antonio i think its time for a new poll for next saga

  6. I was going to comment about why I won't watch because of the ads Antonio, but when I opened the 2nd time it was gone. My ad blocker maybe not doing its job properly.

  7. always same pic of abhi? lol he doesnt look like that now

  8. He didn't show how the game would have finished

  9. What can you say about Magnus that hasn't already been said. He's the goat! Great game. Thx for the video.

  10. Will India seek to repatriate him and repatriate other talents (in tech) that have gone overseas, because India doesn't just want Indians succeeding overseas, but want them to do so under its flag?

  11. I have no respect for this gm. Went through loopholes to get his title

  12. India = 1.2 billion people
    Norway = 5 million people
…and Norway produces the top world champion of all time.

  13. I think Mishra have lots of potential, Nice to see young player succed

  14. World championship title is going to be a shame, Carlsen will forever be the best, with or without the title

  15. sorry but I don't see anything special with this kid.

  16. Megnus still too stronk for Abi. Good try tho

  17. Is this the kid who as a 3 year old played Karpov?

  18. I can't believe Agad said a doubled b-pawn is nothing spectacular… you get to play b4 twice!

  19. That'll put marzipan in your pie plate, Bingo! says:

Magnus with white. Good luck, kid.

  20. Magnus probably phoned his girlfriend straight after the match gloating about how he crushed his 14 year old opponent. Lol.

  21. He fought valiantly, but alas, it was not to be.

  22. I cant remember that spectacular game by the youngest grandmaster abhimanyu…..wait there isn't one
