I always do prefer watching high level games with the eval bar off.
It's a cool game but imho a bit overhyped. Even I (~1700) saw that d6 idea instantly. Magnus' decision making and precision in calculations is of course insane but the ideas are pretty straightforward.

I think the reason is that Stockfish predicts best moves from both sides. In order for Carlson attack to work there should be a human mistake. If he was playing against the computer his attack woudnt be successful and thats why stockfish didnt see it as good until the mistake was made by his opponent.
A Panda would beat me at chess 8 out of 10 times. That's how bad I am at it… I'm dead serious xD
