Many chess comentators frequently use the term "counterplay". But it seems like this term is incredibly vague and I am never really sure what exactly this means. It seems like anything that isn't defence while being attacked is considered "counterplay". What are the kinds of moves you are looking for when trying to get counterplay? Did gothamchess make a video that has a section specifically about this? (these titles are completely unsearchable.)
Maybe you could sneak in some explanation about this as a section in a future video?
