Magnus Carlsen is playing three games this weekend in the Norwegian League (Eliteserien) for his team Offerspillsk. These may be his last classical games as World Chess Champion.

The players have 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1.

This channel growth is literally nothing in front of gothamchess this shows the quality difference

Thanks for making these! Really appreciate your approach!

Hammer 🔨 s lord . How he can loose 😜🤟🤔

I thought this was the en passant game. Did Agadmator cover that?

Nice, I am a true master of the endgame and guessed RB8

Magnus and finding ways to win a pawn into the endgame, name a better match than this!

Nic (J Bruce Feynman Niccolo P. Bentulan) says:

Magnus actually does something good in the endgame? That's surprising considering Magnus sucks at middlegames or endgames because Magnus was 4x WCC at the time when Magnus lost the inaugural WC to Wesley So

Nic (J Bruce Feynman Niccolo P. Bentulan) says:

2nd comment: Philippine women's chess #suggestion – WGM Janelle Frayna, the female Wesley So, upset Georgian GM (really GM not just WGM) Bela Khotenashvili at the 2022 world blitz.

    There's a 12-move UNDERPROMOTION puzzle here.

For some reason none of the Philippine channels even cover this game. LOL. But Janelle did cover the game where e drew against Nemo, so maybe Janelle will cover this game later on.

P.S. Please help get Wesley So on Lex Fridman's podcast. See

Nice nice to see Magnus not just playing a great endgame when he’s under pressure nice to see him winning and being in front of blacks moves Good Game Good Call

"I mean you could capture, but you'd lose the game…ok so yeah". Had me laughing

On 6:03, why can't R capture Bb5 then knight takes e6 with fork?

It's funny to me that I don't have the good feelings for Carlsen that I had for Fischer Both are prima donas of the chess world.

I don't remember Jon's name. He is good and I should recognize him.

Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down!! Despite the economic downturn,I'm so happy☺️. I have been earning $11,200 returns from my $7000 investment every 14days.

Did Medo pass away? I have not seen him in the background in a long time! I wish he would give an update on why this is

Black had a bad bishop which is key to Magnus victory in endgame.

Excellent serious classical chess => very good
But please bring back the sorcery series! 😊

It's amazing that MC will probably retire out of boredom. To be that good that there's no one else to challenge you must be an eerie place to be.

Hey agad is there a way that me and you can play
On the internet I would love to play you because of your knowledge in chess the way you review a game remembering every line from other games and everything
If I'm being honest you are the g.o a t. When it comes to chess your details and knowledge is just God mode

Magnus will still be the highest rated player and neither Nepo or Ding are on his level…. so yeah whose the world champ?

Move seven. In a classical game where seemingly normal moves were played each time.

If you can survive to the endgame against Magnus, then you will lose.

2.21 "You have to capture the queen" should be "You have to capture the knight".

If Magnus offers you something, it might be in his favor.

Call me crazy, but with a name like Hammer, he should win everything.

Beating Ludwig hammer is like beating a woman…it’s nice

6:35 you could play Bb7 but that instantly loses the game, not only cause you blunder the pawn on e6, but also blunders the rook with Nxe6+ forking the rook and king

Remember who became heavyweight boxing champion when Mike Tyson went to prison and was stripped of his titles? Yea. Neither do I. That’s basically what Ding and Nepo are playing for. Most people who know chess won’t think that the winner of that match is the champion of anything.

You can capture on h2 but you would lose the game – classic Agad

On pause moment, isn't it better to sacrifice white rook taking black bishop on d5 ? Then after check pawn takes white rook and then white knight to e6 check and on next move takes black rook…

Hey Agad! in 2:04 2:34 5:44 we can hear some notification sound that you could not hear during recording (possibly due to speakers mute) – sorry about that

1:40 "it's very interesting. You could capture on h2. It is possible to capture, I mean you'd lose the game but it's very interesting why it's impossible to capture"

Still hope he just doesn't defend the title, so he can attack it once again!

Why would u stop being the world champion when no one can beat you
