The 2023 FIDE World Chess Championship is a 14-game match taking place in the St. Regis Astana Hotel in Astana, Kazakhstan on April 9-30 between Ian Nepomniachtchi and Ding Liren, who finished 1st and 2nd in the 2022 Candidates Tournament. Reigning World Champion Magnus Carlsen has chosen not to defend his title. The first player to reach 7.5 points wins, while a 7:7 tie will be decided by a playoff. The prize fund is €2 million, split 60:40, or 55:45 if it goes to a playoff. No draw offers are allowed until after move 40.

Each player has 120 minutes for 40 moves, then 60 minutes for the next 20, then 15 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment starting only from move 61. A playoff will consist of four 25-minute games, with a 10-second increment from move 1. If still tied, up to two pairs of 5+3 games will be played. If tied again, single 3+2 games are played, with colours reversed each game, until one player wins.

everyone was interested…. in your new studio !! lol

It has been almost two years since we had so many decisive games in a World Championship Match. Interesting Times.

Game 6 Ding Chilling will summon John Cena next to him so that Nepo can't see the attacks coming.

I love the new camera angle! Also the camera feels much higher quality, keep up the good work!

I'm glad Dragnus dropped out of defending the title.

Fisher v. Spassky 1972 5 of first six games were won, including a forfeit in Game 2 and a draw in Game 4. Spassky won Game One and Game 2(by forfeit), Fischer won games 3,5, and 6.

Is the audio just a little bit off from the video for others too? It looks like a new camera angle maybe the audio isn’t super synced

This is turning out to be a great Championship. Hope it keeps going like this.

Stop saying “keep the tension”….. I beg you…. please!

In game 6, we will get to know that Magnus is a member of team Nepo

Ke7 before Qd7 would just blunder the bishop on b7 no?

All this shows us is how strong Carlsen is.

    That was enjoyable thank you!🎉

Man it shows how dominant magnus was. No one can make a win like these in the first few matches

And in this video, we have a new agadmator‘s position which we have never seen so far.

Day by day world championship games are going very crazy and interesting. The players playing very solid positions. This 2023 year WCC is running with eagerness in audience.😃😃😃

The guy making first move is none other than Wesley So.

At 18'40"" , when Agadamator envisages Kg2, he suggests to Ding Qa8 to get additional time – well, maybe not that a good idea, because Qa8 would be followed by immeidate Qxf7# – probably would be played before Ding "gets additional time".

The guy at the very beginning was Zeric Sapiev. Olympic Boxing Gold medalist

Poprilicno dugacki videi u ovoj seriji. Vise drzi paznju kad je video kraci.

Agadmator really keeps tension – until the very end I didn't know whether it will end as decisive

Thank you for the great content!!!

The thumbnail looks like Nepo slapping Ding lol

Great that Magnus took a break- people never took risks against him – so this is a great match!

Fisher – Spassky – there the first 4 PLAYED games – three ended with a decisive victory. Even better the first 5 Played games – four ended with a decisive victory.

If you add that Fischer lost one without playing – then out of the first 6 games – 5 had a decisive outcome!

Why would it be terrible to be in Ding's shoes? He is playing for the World Chess Championship. How many of us are going to get an opportunity like that? None of us. Zero.

Who could tell that f6 was the winning move in most lines on that game.

It's all because Ding didn't follow the correct dream of pushing b4 7:12

New camera or just new angle? From 30 fps to 60 fps to 4k vids?
