You could technically win by not capturing the rook with the pawn and capture the a-pawn and after the queen checks your King, they'll need to move their other pieces to checkmate allowing your queen to move in and mate the king.

Why a rook there instead of a queen? Doesn't the queen do the same thing as a rook?

I hate stalemates, in most (but not all) cases it should be checkmate because it's not like the king has any chance of surviving since it's surrounded and forced to move somewhere

Then the king can do nothing to protect his queen because he is under a discovered check and forced to take the pawn promotion, therefore, his queen is lost

Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't first Qa6 and and then Qa8# be better? He can't move the king because of the rook and he can't really attack the queen because the queen would just take. Also there are no good checks, if he would not check in any move you instantly win
