Congratulation Ding for winning, but still the shaking Nepo is so sad.

Надо было назвать не "момент выигрыша", а "момент проигрыша". Эмоции Яна тут безусловно на первом плане.

I was rooting for Ding but man that was heartbreaking when Ian grasped at the pieces, hands trembling.

Seeing Ian's shaking hand and him knocking all the pieces over after he realised those are truly his last WCC moves was heartbreaking – I was rooting for Ding all the way, but these guys are both so likeable and humane. I'm sure this match will be remembered for a very, very long time.

Remember how arrogant Nepo was at the start? 🤡🎉

    Nipo's shaky hands explanation:

When your body is under stress, it goes into fight-or-flight mode, causing stress hormones to flood your body and speed up your heart, blood pressure and breathing. This can cause your muscles to tense which can lead to a trembling sensation or shaking.

"You have won the world championship congratulations ding,so my question is how is the weather"

Joining the Candidates after Karjakin's disqualification, managing to finish at a good 2nd place, reaching the World Chess Championship after Magnus decided to forfait, finishing the classical segment 7-7 and winning the Rapid tiebreak on the last match as black.
Someone make a movie about Ding's crazy rise to World Champion already!!!

Ian is a stronger chess player than Ding, but clearly Ding wins overall for the best chess player (apart from Magnoos). Chess involves strategic play, knowing when to risk it, and understanding your opponents and your own strengths and weaknesses.

I felt so bad for Ian that I went to Chessable immediately and bought his course of the King‘s gambit, to give him at least a bit of financial support from afar. (Yes, that’s the kind of guy he is. He could make an opening course about any opening he wanted, and he chose one of the most romantic of all.)

"Is he playing for a win??? Is Ding Liregn trying to win this game? How dare he… this is madness"

He had to shake Nipos hannds AGAIN to make sure it was for REAL!

I can't imagine a man like ian is shivering
His hands are shaking like he is in antrantica
    Imanse pressure hats off

Just WOW! That Rook self pin. The saying 'fortune favours the brave' has never rung truer. Congratulations to Ding.

Let´s be honest… Ian reaction is the highlights of this match. heartbreaking, Live by the sword, die by the sword. Congrat to both.

Congrats to the second best player in the world

Nepo wanted so badly to crush those pieces in his hand. And the worst thing about being a super gm is you'll never forget every move you made

Something I haven't seen mentioned, why this loss hurts so much more for Ian, is there's no time to prepare for it… Imagine if Ding won game 1 of rapid and drew the next 3 games, it'll definitely be heartbreaking for Ian, but at least it'll be less sudden, less shocking. Here, maybe 5 minutes have passed from the time Rg6 was played to when Ding became the world champion, and Ian was already expecting a draw. Imagine coming so close to everything you've worked for, then it all being taken away from you in the span of 5 minutes, that's beyond devastating…

Rg6 by Ding was incredible, asserting dominance by not accepting the draw. Fabi mentioned that Ding could have played Ke6 in game 14 to play for the win, but chose instead to bail out into the draw. Now in the tiebreaks, he chose to play on, and it payed off spectacularly

Ian was gracious in his defeat . Not forgetting to shake hands with Ding twice even as his own hands were shaking and the mountain of disappointment came crashing down on him . To have come so close this time .

I mean Ian still made 900,000€ and will have even more experience if he decides to try again next year. Only thing he lost pretty much is the title.

Abdusattarov is already practicing staring intimidatingly at Ding by watching a lot of boxing staredowns

Dudee.. it was sooo painfull to see Ian's hand shaking. He's surely in soo sooo much pain l. I hope he continue his journey and get through this. All the best to him.

Chess (on this level) is a sport !
    and
    Chess speaks for itself !

That moment of Ian's nervous fidgeting with the pieces was heartbreaking to see, pure desperation

I am so proud of Rapport for motivating Ding in his difficult moments !❤ One of the reason he won !

Nepo beating every chess player in the weirded expression competition. I love that you can really feel his surprise after rg6.
Congrats to both of them💪 a really entertaining competition

Nepo was shaking. Can't imagine what he was feeling at that moment. Go get them next year my man.

The whole tournament feels like scripted drama. Thank you magnus for bringing us this wonderful tournament.

    🐐🇨🇳DING WAS INDEED CHILLING 🥶🧊

Ian lost all the sense of touch after knocking down the pieces. Feels bad for Ian

China deserved a chess champion as well. Russia already had many

He seems like a nice guy maybe he'll become GM one day

Someone should make a movie about this match and Ding's road to the title

From Ding almost not even entering the competition to Ding trailing then Ding chilling and now finally. DING WINNNIIIIIINNNNNGGG!!,,,,,,,

Edit: I know this is cringe but actually THANK U FOR THESE LIKES. I have never gotten over 200 likes on my comments so thank you so much.

Greatness! Congratulions to Ding Liren for becoming a world champion!
