I’m happy for you Gotham, your channel got huge

We need more Tal tales! I came back to watch this a second time.

Like my comment if you want a video of Emory Tate!

My unmatched perspicacity, coupled with sheer indefatigability, makes me a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavor.
    – Emory Tate

Your opponent blunders his queen: 😁
    Your opponent is Tal: 😢

It was Fred Reinfeld that invented brilliant "!!" and even "!!!" moves in his annotations…

Picture being a professional chess player and facing Tal. You are conditioned to be principled, patient, and calculating. Seemingly out of the blue you are taken completely off script into some scary looking position/attack and the guy in front of you is sitting there smoking and drinking like its just another day at the park. Then you manage to survive his insane barrage only to find yourself slightly worse in an endgame you could've never foreseen coming. Adding insult to injury, he finally grinds out the win on you as if it was all part of his master plan.

The videos must be little longer on legends😎

Bravo, Levy. Wonderful stuff here. Looking forward to more.

Really enjoyed this video. Would like any other stuff you make regarding this player or other players from the past and their games.

These are some of my favorite kinds of videos!

Great coverage on the Tal games. Is by far my favorite GM to study. While Tal was good at calculating, getting himself has admitted that a lot of his moves and sacrifices were purely intuitive. He would just find ways to complicate the games. He said that while he couldn’t calculate everything on the board, he also knew his opponent couldn’t either. In fact a lot of his opponents ran into time trouble quite often because of trying to calculate the best moves, which is exactly what happened in his last game against Kasparov.

This is inspiring me to blunder all my peices away

I miss your historical chess dives from the early days so much! I'm glad you're back at it <3

So in a way Tal beat stockfish, what a legend

The commentary on this video is amazing, it's now my favorite video on this channel

Tal is that one cool uncle no one listens to but has so much wisdom

One of my favorite Tal facts – Despite his hand deformity, he played piano 🙂

He first accidentally said Tal has 3 hands in stead of saying he has 3 fingers on his right hand 😂😂

    (he then corrected it)

Keep in mind that despite what seems like a volatile playing style, Tal also set the record for longest unbeaten streak which lasted many decades

There is lot of Peoples who say’s Gary Kasparov is best chess player ever born, but there is small group of people who says Mihail Tal is the best chess player ever even if he won him being deadly sick.
    WHY CHESS WORLD? WHY?

When he born His hand actually was like one big finger and doctor make it like 3 fat fingers.

Helping us appreciate our predecessors and the magic and majesty of this game! Thanks!

Gotham thank you for covering my favorite player <3

Levy's story telling is another thing when it comes to appreciating great ppl and creating a memorial for them fr. Great content man

In my opinion Tal was the greatest of all time !!

Is that the Mikhail Tal who bullied by the unknown chess legend "Gangster" something 🤔 😳 😏 🤣
