I used that same siccilian defence sacrifice in one of the games couse my opponent was a dummy
I love this series, Levy! Please, do more!
We want more chess history deep dives!
I love this kinda videos about great players from the past. It brings much more emotions than every day "Magnus did this" hype. Levy is a great storyteller.
Tal sacrifices HIMSELF!!!!!!!!!!
when we getting GTE again 😭
Yeah he was the man who invented Brilliancy…….
9/10 video. loved it.
Finally a video regarding Tal who invented the art of sacrifices
21:19 , isn’t there a mate in 2 for white?
Make such a video about the spiritual successor of Tal, Dubov!
I see Tal, I like👍🏼
Thank you for sneaking in one of the Great old Masters even though its boring for all the bullet kiddies.
I love the deep dives!! Happy to see these coming back I missed this informational format
Love the history! Tal is a legend! You explain it so hyped!
Did he play any interesting games against Bobby Fisher?
and guys…. think about it… 😉
yes more great games of the past, please!
FINALLY A HISTORY VID
I respect Levy but I only clicked because it was Misha
Bro these sacrifices are legit scary good wtf 😭
Thanks really enjoyed this one.
Definitely a few more like this, its always good to shake it about once in a while.
Is it only me that has watched these videos before now🙄
I think these videos all do well on their own, its a frequency issue. They wont do well if you do them all the time.
so just from the intro Mikhail Tal became Mikhail Chal, Mikhail Tall… Gofam stuff
I like these vids, plus the ones you used to do on openings. More of this stuff!
I had the opportunity to ask GM Oscar Panno in a class (here on YT) about what it was like to play against Tal, since they shared many moments together and of course games. Panno answered me that the psychological pressure was very strong because with each movement the problems in the position multiplied, until you finnaly lost orientation. Something like that also happened with his sacrifices, not so much because of the precision, but because of the effect on your mind.
This is the first video of yours I clicked on in a while. Yes, I like the historical analysis.
U telling me he got the claw?
thanks Gotham Chess im super motivated after this video to start drinking and smoking more to try and become a genius
Latvia mentioned❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think this tal dude probably thought through half of his moves and the other half he was just like: ehh fuck it!
It's that guy that shows up in everyone's dreams
tal the beauty of chess , the best to ever play taking count his time , simply my favourite player
Take your opponent to a dark forest where 2+2=5 … and the path out is only wide enough for one 🥶🥶🥶
The drama of Levi’s storytelling is so good…honestly I would spend an hour listening to him narrate paint drying.
"It's knight to d6, knight to d6- wait, what the fuck?"
It was not, in fact, Nd6. It was exf6.
Great content
Bro thinks he’s Mikhail Tal
Awesome video. I love learning about chess history and it's characters

I found a book called into the fire of the attack by Tal at a flea market in russia for 2$ … its now one of my favourites in my collection, and its even autographed
I can’t wait to research more about Tal. Thank you for covering him and these games. He comes across as an absolute legend.
