Excellent video, very helpful to me starting to take chess a little seriously after only knowing the rules casually fot a long time

As an 800 i never understood game analysis. I never know if something has a deeper meaning or if stockfish is being a scumbag or concepts that are super intricate that i shouldnt worry about until 2500. Thats whats hard for me

Ah yes the very familiar 69 brilliant moves. Happens every day.

Levy show us how a 2000 think in chess

Please, please, please: Don't be like everyone else calling your opponent for "they", Please!!!

levy the typa guy to wear a tank top and give advice

Amazing video as always Levy 🙂 by the way, maybe you could consider making more 10 minute opening videos? Would love to see a QID or Grünfeld video. Maybe even dive into chess history with Casablanca vs Tartakower? Whatever it is, I know I’ll love the next video as much as the previous one

I got my first brilliant move yesterday and 1000 rated on rapid

This is one of the best type of videos and it helps a lot thx levy👍

I think you should do this with subscriber games. This video shows how to analyze as a 2800, it would be interesting to see how to analyze as a 1000 or so

i still dont know why only playing 1 game on high level chess is the same crime as arson on a adoption center

I don't know Levy, i'm also rapidly balding, wearing tank tops, and giving advice, but my chess is still wack

I would like that you analyze one of my games where can i send you my gamertag?

I think the biggest issues with the game reviews is how it can be rather weird in judging whether a game was between two 500 elo players or like a 2200+ elo level. I had games rated in literally all sorts of elo ranges, up to literal GM elo level. Now truth be told, some of those games were played very poorly of course and deserved a 500 elo rating I guess, especially in bullet where you sometimes just throw anything at your opponent. But sometimes I am crushing my opponent with fairly 'easy' to play chess positions and then the elo rating sucks because I just played simple chess that was more guaranteed to win versus playing absolute best moves. So yeah, my accuracy was a bit lower, but my human opponent had almost no chance to win. Pretty much. Also, I often disagree with the computer overvaluing taking space in a single move, versus looking a bit deeper into the next 5 or so moves. And sometimes it does see the deeper follow up moves. The computer gets weird the most when there are many many variations possible. Or when your opponent didn't play the best moves either hahah.

Honestly, I think game review is full of shit. The computer is forced to make an evaluation of the entire game in only five seconds, and so I feel that there is a significant decrease in quality of the evaluations than if you were to let the computer run without game review.

When he laughs at 800 (which is wha I am) it kills me 😢

This is great. I need to analyse my games more. Thank you. Ps 2. …d6 is great against the Bg5 headache. White has to play some ugly looking moves to maintain equality

0:37 to 0:44 no way levy left us in antarctica with no blankets on with those cold bars 🥶🥶🥶🥶

Anyone else slightly annoyed that he didn't look at the huge spike in the eval bar at the end where apparently missed a chance to gain a completely winning position? No? Just me? Okay.

How does a person know if a move is good in the mid game

Really enjoyed this content Levy! 🙏 Please do more of this!

my mom isnt back from the pool with my kids yet.

Great content again a brilliant video .. hope you get the pun

I would love for game review to tell me why my good moves were good lmao

That was one of the most helpful videos I've ever seen you make, good job Levy!

this was great! really love this type of teaching. Thanks Levy.

That first endgame with the bishop blown my mind! Thanks for the content

The problem is: I'm too dumb and too forgetful to even understand my own moves from before lol.

I only liked the part when the video ended

Levy never fails to kill my chess career with his advice

I played Komodo set at 1400; Game Review thought it played at 1100.
    … yep.
