One thing I noticed while woodturning is to try to not have the straight edge around the chisel tip make contact with the wood piece since it’s at an angle to where it might pull your hand or finger down. Great video, best gift you’ve made on this channel by a landslide

Next time just use a painters brush it will save you time ( for clear coat and polyurethane )
