Considering Nd5 + – , she did well to put up a fight

Can't wait to know if Arjun found Nd5 over the board, very impressive!

Yifan looks like a very sweet girl

This just tells us how different top level chess is. Some of the tactics and understanding required to win the game is insane.

The fact that Hou Yifan played like this after such a big mistake against a player of Arjun's rating when in effect she is a chess part-timer these days is absolutely unbelievable! Imagine how good she'd be if she played chess full time like most of the other top GMs. She's keeping up with the best pros when to her this is just a hobby 🤯🤯🤯

I am more impressed for Hou Yifan than for Arjun. What a player! Despite having a loosing position in the beginning, she held on really well.

Apart from Re6 I believe Arjun had control throughout the game. His choice to trade the queens was obvious and even though the engine disagrees I think it's the best practical choice. The endgame is winning, not to mention the knight is in a perfect place to deliver forks and pick up material.
All and all, I'd say it was a pretty clinical win after the blunder.

There should not be a separate chess competition for men and women. Only for physical sports should there be.

Imagine defeating hikaru nakamura 3 times in a row but losing a girl… What an absolute embrassment…

Arjun Erigaisi's current blitz rating is 2737.8 while Hou Yifan's inactive blitz rating is 2583. She did really well all things considered!

is Yifan the world #1? I thought Magnus was? Sorry i'm new to chess :<

Yifan defense was so good….but arjun op 🔥🔥

I’m surprised arjun let his advantage slip so much. Was like he got chicken.

Genius commentary and genius analysis on board

the only missing here is sagar bhai.. if sagar playing too i guess we have a new champion from india

Please make a video with Hou Yifan showing us an immortal of hers. It'll be nice to see her explain the intricacies in person

Arjun and Yifan handshake confusion deserves a compilation ….Arjun is so awkward man …hilarious shit

Arjun bhaiya gaye kaamse bhaiya fasgaye ladki ke chakkar mein aaaeeee

05:55 Yifan shows her class by sacrificing the knight.. Great Game..👍👍

It takes a great personality to smile after losing. Yifan is just awesome.

it hurts to see Women world no1 getting crushed like this even though she lost on times if you look her face during the game looks like she almost was gonna cry

Be it chess or tennis the distortion is very real between male players and woman

I think she have a crush on Arjun, just think of the chess prodigy they will produce in harmony~!

Most no 1 players lose must be due to running out of time

She still managed to make it exciting in the end. Just a time scramble.
