bro what is wrong with these 600s and 800s. I'm 612 and could definitely wreck these idiots

Hey how do I submit a game which I thought was amazing?

Which piece or pawn made your first brilliant move?

I once long castled and it was brilliant
To this day, i don't get why it is a brilliant

Not on topic of the video but I love how qa1+ at 18:06 is “inaccurate” when the move is winning a full rook 😂

i remember blundering a knight and it was a brilliant 🗿

Do you think they should only give a brilliant move marker if you play out the brilliant line? You lose the checkmarks for not following up?

Wait so is 1200 elo good or bad?
    Genuine question

and what you said in the beginning is right. brilliant moves are the most enjoyable thing in chess♟♟♟♟

Just after I got my first two brilliant moves in a row🙂

You don’t need to be at a disadvantage to get a brilliant move, it just needs to be a forcing and creative sacrifice.
Great moves, however, occur when any other move is bad, so some are easy to find and others difficult.
I would say that a third of the brilliant moves are also great moves

The brilliant move is calculated if you sacrifice material and play one of the top engine moves i think

21:34 it allows the trapped knight to escape and then allows the black bishops to trade, essentially mitigating the loss of 8 points of material down to 5 and a gain of 6?

I think the brilliant at 14:28 is brilliant because after the white bishop takes, black can create a forced backrank checkmate starting by taking the rook on e1

Brilliants are so easy. I get 2-3 each day

I think Brilliant moves also depend on the ELO of the players

I play the best game ever,no brilliant
I do a random move and the game tells me i did a brilliant

0.75 yutube speed…. found my beach on those vids.

thanks bro i just win a chess tournament in my scholl cuz of you

Just did 4 brilliant move in one game And it actually makes sense

Levy out here destroying our morale. I blame the hair cut.

Actooly mester gofam i fink if its brillancy itf becoz it saves the knight for an atak so you not smarter than coumputter ok relax mester gofamchessboard

i seriously don't understand how he finds the worst 800's in the world. like the 800's I play do not blunder their pieces for no reason

They actually quite a few months ago changed how brilliant moves show up, usually it was a strong positional move or a winning sacrifice but now it is such that a brilliant move is just a sacrifice of a piece if the evaluation does not change much

Today Gotham Chess wore a "beating wife" shirt

I had this weird situation including a brilliant move
I put my bishop in a place where if the king takes my free knight its checkmate
But moving the bishop out of the diagonal that indirectly protects the knight is brilliant

Got 3 brilliants yesterday and they actually made sense (900 elo)

Watched this video. Played a Game of Chess. Had THREE Brillant rook moves after one another. Did Not feel as good as before…

ישראלים, מה אתם אומרים על אסף?
    שיחק טוב?

How are you qualified to even know what a Brilliant Move is, anyway?

The game for the 300s, the only reasonable explanation I can think of for pushing the pawn is to probably bring the knight back into the game. And at the same time, the pawn escapes capture from the white bishop.

Gothams references random scenarios between how adults can beat up children is probably my favorite thing about his videos

and this Video is chock full of them <3

I remember my first Brilliant Move. Made me so mad I started a thread about it in the forums.

I had a choice between checking my opponent and snagging a free or I could hang my Queen.

Like how the bloody quack quack is that a Brilliant Move?!?!

Oh I guess I can move a pawn durrr oh no I lost my queen!

Seriously if that is the standard every knight fork or bishop skewer ought to be Brilliant Mives as they can be harder to find especially if they involve a couple of prep moves and some clearance sacks.

i once got a brilliant move on opening theory

If this (10:57) were a position between two GMs, Ba6 is the only move that gives Black an advantage. That's enough for the analysis tool.
