The 2024 Freestyle Chess G.O.A.T. Challenge is an over-the-board Chess960 classical tournament featuring Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren, Alireza Firouzja, Fabiano Caruana, Gukesh, and more. The Freestyle Chess G.O.A.T. Challenge consists of a rapid and a main event, both in the Chess960 variant. In total, there is a $200,000 prize pool to be played for at the Weissenhaus Private Nature Luxury Resort, Germany.

It's called 960 but i dont see any reason to differentiate between a start set-up and it's mirrored one. You could play the exact same games, mirrored, so 480 meaningfully different positions
