He looks like an 37 office worker and he is 17???!

Never seen a stronger challange for Hikaru since Robert showed up and gave us this superior game well done Robert πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Lots of people saying hikaru win hikaru win…where? Even if flag…its a draw…
    Its a draw. 😀

These would be better without the music. It's distracting.

That dude is not 17, did they round down by 5 years?

That Hikaru guy should stream some time. He's a good player.

6:45 For Black, why Rd7? d7 should be the Black king's escape square. I don't see a quick mate if Black did something different.

This was super crazy and I agree, the accuracy by Hikaru and Robert was insane! They were neck and neck the whole game, nobody had a big advantage. Only advantage I saw was 1.6 with Hikaru.

This guy Robert looks at least 30, how am I older than him? Damn

holy fucccck damn that was intense shit was flying everywhere

Wow Robert is even better than Hikaru, he will be nr1 soon if he can beat Hikaru. Need to see more of him

The music they play when the time scramble starts is so funny. Sounds like a action movie where the main character is being chased

I think you gotta have 1 sec increment always when playing OTB. This ending was really unsatisfying considering this great game. Pieces were flying and people moving on the opponents turn…

I am so impressed by the way Hikaru doesn't throw a hissy fit about the pieces getting knocked over at the end. That shows great class that he wants his visit to be an enjoyable experience for everyone and can put aside his ultra competitive world class GM hat and just have a good time with a great young talent like Robert and all the spectactors without taking things overly seriously.

Uh… hikaru had 1 minute compared to robert's 5 minutes. It's not even close who the better player is.. it's hikaru.. i wouldn't want to be congratulated my game if i was given that severe of a handicap. it's not deserved if i won.

That "whatever".You know you took his soul, lol, when acts like a bi@##.

Why is no one talking about the fact that this man is not 17

It's so weird to see Robert all grown up. What an amazing match, thanks for sharing!

i thougt when you touch a piece you have to move it? is that wrong?

your intro is horrid lower the volume

your timer is also his timer. it looks like a handicap, but in practice, he knows what you're doing and while you decide moves, he's already thought of them, but on your time

I’ll always watch a hikaru game but chess is just such a interesting game such as 5:34 His king is surrounded at a glance it’s GG but nah just part of the plays πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Well done with the music. I have never experienced such anticipation for a draw πŸ˜‚β€πŸ”₯

The dramatic music at the end of games totally ruins this channel for me

17? He looks older than me. I'm 42 lol

Never thought I'd say this about 2 men playing chess… But that was sexy! πŸ˜‚

Idk how someone even considers that a victory… When all the pieces are flying all over the place. I don’t even like Hikaru but he was at least putting the pieces on the board properly.. This dude Robert was chucking his pieces πŸ˜‚πŸ€£LOL

The explanation at the end is wrong lol. The mate is Rc7, not Rg8.

Lol the kid acting like he didn’t just get beat πŸ˜†
