  5. How can you do puzzles for 30 mins I get a few everyday and you said not to waste money on chess so I don't understand

  6. Thank you so much bro I beat my grandpa I am. A 872 now

  7. The queen puzzle in the beginning… I’m 630 elo right now…
Wouldn’t you take with bishop then after king takes shouldnt you check with queen and then take black queen so after you lose your rook your queen takes bishop? Otherwise it’s a rook and bishop for a queen right?

  8. I find this video way tooo relatable chess vibes ,daniel & obviously our boi levy everything is spot on once I almost quit and caro kan brought me back but one thing I disagree with is the sicilian part I am not discarding it😅 (I am rated 1600 rapid about 20 months ago I watched a video with the title "how to play chess " from GothamChess)

  9. Top tip: Try to have at least 130 IQ but really you want to aim higher. Yes, some 140 IQ are only decent, but overall it will help alot!

  10. I litteally reached 1700 rapid n a year started 15/1/2023

  11. imo puzzles are not a good way to 800. my puzzle rating is 1800 and ive done over 7k puzzles. still 600.

  12. its been 6 month since i started from 0 and im 1550 but not a competition

  13. So I've been trying to get serious with chess and after around 3 months at it I've struggled and plateaued. Then, I came across this beauty of a video. PUZZLES PUZZLES PUZZLES! Total game changer, never thought twice they would help so never did them and now I'm on them daily and they serious improve your gameplay, get a puzzle app and watch your rating shoot up

  14. Best video for a beginner like me. I love the London! I went to the library and got a book… Ive been a bodybuilder for years but felt I was lacking in mental training. I was also in Civil Engineering (dropped out) but recognized I had no spatial recognition, pattern recognition, or very good problem solving skills… I, too, have been scouring for educational YT vids, and love your recommendations!

Sick vid, bro and thank you!! Gonna start puzzles soon!!

  15. “Don’t play the Sicilian defense (beginner)” me : well you kinda make me wanna do that after you do “your not that guy pal” meme.

  16. you cant be zero elo. dont give misinformation!

  17. Nice job on the journey to 1700. I started in march 2023 at 100 Elo and then went to 1700(currently at 1792) on January 6th 2024
Edit:Just reached 1900 after endless playing

  18. Don't play much online, but 1900 elo in a few months

  19. Im 746 elo in rapid and 2126 elo in puzzles, what advice should i take?

  20. Came back to this vid after a while, just wanted to say, i love you my guy

  21. I was 900 some months ago but 1200 on new year

  22. First of all congrats! It is pretty impressive and if I may ask how long have you studied daily on average? And where and how you doing that analyzing of your games? Thanks a lot.

  23. me stuck at 400 after more than a month 🙁

  24. I really thought it's abnormal to only play 3-5 games a day. After watching your video it now makes sense. I started to learn caro-khan and play a couple of gambits, such as queen's gambit, king's gambit and scotch gambit. I would love to play the london system as well as Scandinavian for black. I'll only try to learn openings that would really benefit me. Your video helps a lot. Especially for a beginner like me. I'm currently at 1100ish and still grinding.
