She fell for a scholar's mate. It's an quick and easy checkmate against people with relatively little experience, but anyone who plays chess semi-regularly should learn how to defend against it. Granted, it's understandable that someone may be tilted by their opponent playing blindfolded and make a mistake that they would otherwise catch. Most casual players will fuck up occasionally.
Blindfolded chess in general is a difficult skill, though far from unprecedented. He's a good player, but this does not prove he's a grandmaster or anything. You just need to be able to keep a mental picture of an 8×8 board with no more than 32 pieces. I'm personally shit at visualization like that and the memory dedicated to remembering the current board state can make it harder to plan future moves and the board states that would result.
Now…I know I haven't played chess in a while, but I'm fairly certain she didn't have to say her moves. Might have been a more interesting video then, master chess player beats random player
(Because I'm fairly certain he knows the layout of the board by now so a bindfold isn't that much of an issue…actually might be a neat way to practice)
Everytime I get a chess app and wonder how the AI is given either all knowledge to beat you or all stupidity, of course I immediately delete it when they move two at once to avoid checkmate.
Playing chess blind folded is not impressive at all because you don’t actually need to see to play if you know the board like most decent chess players do it’s not hard moving the pieces is the easiest part of chess and thats only part you need to see for that and knowing where there being placed and she told him that and moved them for him so it didn’t matter if he was blind folded or not if he was moving the pieces himself it would be cool but no 💀😂
No offense but someone with a weeks worth of lessons would have been able to call that match as your loss after your first 3 moves. There are two ultimate's in the game of chess. two things that must be followed through upon in any variation, but to the utmost completion manageable. Opening, and finishing a game. A bad open pretty much gives you no option to end a game in your favor. A good open is wasted if you dont understand how to finish your opponent leading out of the opening. Knowing both, and as many variations of both as possible is the key to becoming a decent chess player. Scottish opening combined with Sicilian defense is on of my go to recommendation for people learning their first opener. Its easy to track, simple in nature, but fairly strong and provides you some buffer time before some of your more important pieces are at risk. never count the pawns out. 88% of my chess games that i win are won because i use the pawns to the furthest extent i can. they are shields, weapons, decoys, but also have the potential to become a game ending piece. nothing is more unassuming when a king is under pressure from multiple angles than a pawn that is a couple spaces away from being queened. It practically becomes invisible until its all but too late. combine that with understanding how to build a good barrier around your king but still provide him ample room to avoid attacks and you can beat 95% of the population with enough practice.
Hunter x hunter in a nutshell 💀

Only the 1st pawn can move 2 steps, he moved also the 2nd pawn, he cheated
What's the point in the blindfold if she tells him her moves

He is the protagonist, and we are all side characters💀
They should do this again but this time she does not say a word and just moves her pieces.
I'm sorry, but he looks like off brand Alex Hirsch

Women ☕
Crazy to think that levy has also lost games against blindfolded opponents. Really puts perspective to how good the best are
The king can't kill the queen?
He can see through the massive gap
Tbf…she is like a 200 rated player at best lol. That was only like what 10-12 moves?
Once you choose to play him you basically set yourself up to fail
scholar mate
