I am back competing at otb chess and I’m so excited!! I’m playing Rilton Elo, which is a tournament in Stockholm for people under 2200 and my goal is to win the whole thing 😀 this is the recap of round 3 – hope you enjoy!!

When you moved your rook to a8, why didn't he just take your rook with his knight? You would have still taken his knight back, but he would have relieved you of your 2nd rook and avoided the guaranteed checkmate. I suppose it is because your pawn that takes his knight is protected by your first rook and becomes an instaqueen that immediately checks him again and puts him on the run to an eventual checkmate.

none of the chess pieces on the other game did not even move from the time anna walked in the door, satdown and moved the first piece. look at the other table from 6:43. who is he playing. the bald guy or anna?
this is my problem with chess. I just do not trust it can't be manipulated. Once again we have two guys next to her looking at her game and touching their face. the tables should be turned to face back to back. Anna is playing more that one person in my view.

I think 2000 rated chess might be the most interesting to watch at my pleb level. Super GM stuff is incomprehensible, I will never in a lifetime see that some crap on move 20 transposes into a theoretically disproven Sodom Gomorra gambit sideline, Pogchamps is exciting but gets stale, but this stuff has great moves but also the element of uncertainty where sometimes we can spot tactics and sometimes they will even work.
